Game Guides

What click speed and reaction time you actually need โ€” broken down by game.

// CPS Guides

Games where raw clicks per second affect your performance. Higher CPS = real in-game advantage.

Why click speed matters differently in every game

"What CPS do I need?" has no single answer โ€” it depends entirely on what the game does with your clicks. Minecraft 1.8 PvP rewards every extra click with more hits landed, so competitive players push 10–14 CPS with jitter or butterfly technique. Roblox servers debounce clicks, capping useful CPS far lower than most players assume. Fortnite barely cares about weapon clicking (guns fire on timers) but rewards fast clicking in building and editing. And in osu!, clicking speed is the game โ€” streams are measured in BPM that map directly to CPS.

Reaction-time games flip the question. In CS2, Valorant, Apex, Overwatch 2, and The Finals, one click at the right moment beats ten clicks at the wrong one โ€” so those guides cover reaction benchmarks by rank, and what actually improves them (spoiler: crosshair placement and positioning beat raw reflexes).

Each guide below breaks down one game: how input speed affects it mechanically, realistic benchmarks, and which techniques are allowed or bannable. Test yourself first with the CPS test or reaction test, then read the guide for your game to see what your number means there.
